Photography has been a hobby and passion since the birth of my first child. My children never had to guess what they looked liked at any age, activity or milestone. I have pictures of it all!

I retired on my birthday in 2017 after 46 years in Retail and Corporate Banking, I am finally able to fully devote all of my time to my passion.

Abstract photography is my way of seeing beyond the ordinary, of transforming the familiar into something unexpected. It’s not just about capturing what the eye sees, but also what the mind feels. My work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the subtle interplay of light, texture, and form that surrounds us every day.

A simple crack in the pavement, the reflection of sunlight on water, or the grain of a wooden surface becomes my canvas. By removing context and reshaping perspective, I create images that are open to interpretation, offering a fresh way to see the world.

For me, abstract photography is a celebration of ambiguity. It embraces imperfection and mystery, encouraging a dialogue between the viewer and the image. Each photograph I create is a question, an invitation to explore emotions, memories, and thoughts that arise when confronted with the unfamiliar.

Through this work, I strive to push the boundaries of traditional photography and challenge perceptions. My goal is not to define what you see but to inspire you to find your own meaning in it, to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary.

I am a 2022 graduate of the TILT Institute. I am also a contributing member of Art 504, Creative Collective.
